This week’s trainer tip comes in the form of a 30-day fitness challenge from Elia & Amanda:

In the Summer it can be so difficult to stick to any sort of training routine. Planning on exercising after work? Nope, London has got sunshine for all of 4 minutes so there’s no chance you’re missing those after work drinks. Planning on training in the morning? Nope, last night’s Aperol Spritz has left you feeling slightly worse for wear (but let’s be honest those are like Creme Eggs and only really acceptable to consume for 3 or 4 months of the year so you’d better fill your boots now!)

This abnormally high volume of socialising (bring back nights in with duvets and Deliveroo) can sadly make it challenging to remain consistent and stalls your progress. Enter Elia and AmandaThe Metro asked our two superstar trainers to put together 30 days of fitness challenges, all short and sweet, meaning that they can be done on their own, on holiday or added in as part of your workout - it’s keeping active and accountable that’s important.

Day 1 kicked off with a Press-up challenge - how many can you do in 30 seconds?
