October Member of the Month
OCTOBER’s Member of the Month:
Zoe has been smashing classes with us at FLYKICK pretty much since day one! She is an incredible energy to have both in classes and around the studio in general (for evidence of this please see her awesome picture below).
As she works in the building literally on top of us she has zero excuses for missing classes ;). We wanted to get to know her a bit better in our quick-fire questions!
Quick Fire Q&A!
How did you hear about FLYKICK?
I work in the same building as FLYKICK so myself and some work friends tried it out when it opened. I’ve been obsessed ever since.
Has it impacted your lifestyle/health in any way?
Absolutely. It’s helped me to keep fit and has become the best way to start my days. I’ve always preferred working out in the morning but I actually look forward to getting up for FLYKICK. The environment is always so friendly and inclusive. Some exercise places can be quite daunting but here you’re always welcomed by smiley faces.
What is your favourite part of the workout?
The bag rounds, always. They’re addictive. It’s fun to work on your form and feel powerful, but also what a way to release some pent-up emotion!
Did you learn anything about yourself throughout the time you've joined the #FLYKICKFam?
It’s made me realise how much I actually enjoy exercising. And that I’m stronger than I thought. But also that I will always hate mountain climbers and bicycle crunches!
What motivates you to want to work out?
Working out has a really positive impact on my mental health. It’s the one time during the day where I’m focused and can clear my mind.
And obviously the trainers who drive you every step of the way. I have an old running injury that flares up often and each trainer makes the effort to tailor the work-out for me so I get the best out of it.
Oh, and I’m desperate to get those blue gloves, so roll on class 100!
