On 24th November, you can start your weekend by working up a serious sweat with our signature Flykick class at 11:15am, before making your way over to Ten Pilates in Fitzrovia for a beginners’ reformer Pilates session.

Both the high-intensity session you get at Flykick and the low-impact, rehabilitative training offered with reformer Pilates have a lot in common – the workouts offer huge benefits such as stamina, muscular endurance and strength. But while at Flykick you’ll experience a fast-paced, high-energy and sweaty workout, a reformer Pilates session at Ten is quite the opposite, slowing things right down to hone in on core stability, flexibility and postural work.

If you’ve never been on a reformer before, you’re in for a treat. It involves a sliding carriage that is attached with loaded springs, offering various resistance options for the many different exercises you can perform on it. It’s suitable for all levels and every exercise involved in the full-body workout is completely scalable.

Pilates is all about correct technique, use of core control and injury prevention, so it’s a no brainer that your body will be thanking you post-session.

Fancy giving it a go after your 11:15am Flykick session on Saturday 24th November? The beginners’ class at Ten will start at 1pm so you’ll have plenty of time to get yourself over there in time (the 10-minute walk will be a great chance to flush out your legs after all those kicks!) – plus at £35 for both classes in this special offer, it’d be rude not to!
