Member of the Month: Meet Peter!

October saw the temperature go from tropical to arctic, but through it all our member of the month has been hitting up his Flykick classes morning and evening! Meet…Peter!


How did you hear about FLYKICK?

I work just round the corner and was looking for a new gym when the one in Regent’s Place closed. It was a good opportunity to try something a bit different and the beginner’s pack was such a great intro. I was hooked after the first class!

Has it impacted your lifestyle/health in any way?

Totally - I feel a whole lot fitter and stronger than when I started.

I also spend more time now unravelling wraps from out of the washing (big thanks to Ben for the idea of sticking them in a bag).

What is your favorite part of the workout?

Tabata! Just kidding!!

It’s definitely the bag work and honing new techniques. The team are always on hand to help you perfect those kicks or land your left hook without ending up hugging the bag. Just don’t be caught with your guard down…

Did you learn anything about yourself through the completion of the Perfect 10 Challenge?

I didn’t actually make it (I think I got to 7!). I have a lot of respect for those who managed it, because it was tough!!

What motivates you to want to work out?

I have one big goal... I want to get to the point where I can kick the bag over like Tony! I'm only going to get there through practice.
